Monthly Review June 2017

Another month went by! I know, it is incredible! Honestly, when I stop for a second and think what has happened since last Monthly update, I just can say: Wow! Already!

It has been a creative and vivid period. But, at the same time, something really interesting has been going on with me. I couldn’t get it at first, but after spending some time in figuring it out, I asked myself: Is it time for changes? It might be. I like to think that things will work on their own, and sometimes the best one can do is let things happen. I had many inspiring conversations and even if didn’t manage to do as much as I planned, it turned out to be a good thing as I was even more efficient than thought. I tried not to put myself under pressure and to find a way to relax. Maybe that’s the reason why everything went smoothly.

“Abandon anything about your life and habits that might be holding you back. Learn to create your own opportunities. Know that there is no finish line; fortune favors action. Race balls-out toward the extraordinary life that you’ve always dreamed of, or still haven’t had time to dream up. And prepare to have a hell of a lot of fun along the way.” – by Sophia Amoruso.

The place to be - Art Basel 2017

I always like to start with art, so, here is me - doing it again! Guilty, but proud to be! If you go with me for a little trip back to few weeks ago, let’s have a glimpse into Art Basel 2017. Although feeling bad for not having the time to visit this year, I felt as a missionary who needed to spread the message of art! Take a look at the article to see which galleries I recommended and which artist you could learn more about.

A dress to wear – Red one!

Every girl deserves a perfect dress! We are all princesses of our lives, and so should we behave. My choice this time went for a red one! Even more, my red dress by J.Jackman is so much more than a dress itself! If you take a look at my blog, you could see an incredible inspiring vision and work which stands behind this brand. I love to wear clothes not as a status symbol but as a symbol of shared believes supported by the essence of individualism.

Time for gateway – Monaco!

Road trip to Monaco, through beautiful landscapes of Alps, Italy and France! Sunny day, marvelous views and cappuccino!  And beyond, when the sight of seaside appeared after miles of driving I left literally speechless! Monaco appeared in its full shine! The good thing with Monaco is that things hardly change and if so then it’s for the better. I was already excited to return to Cipriani, see Pierre and Stefano masterly handling the guests and feel the unique atmosphere of Monaco.

After returning from Monaco, I got back to my day activities. Balancing through Zurich, Geneva and London, with my laptop and phone which is constantly ringing sometimes can be really tiring and time consuming. Not that I complain, but I needed to find my way of dealing with stress when having no time to go to spa center to relax a bit. And yes, I found it! The Ritual of Hammam, luxury cosmetics which allow us to create the feeling of Hammam (known as “Turkish bath”) in our bathrooms! Just in the right time, I would say. I tried it out, and it works!

During last few weeks I realized that I was listening to few songs which I like a lot, so many times! While driving, doing my training, even while working I couldn’t stop myself from listening:

Tuesday by Burak Yeter feat Danelle Sandoval;

ZHU – Faded;

Attention - Charlie Puth;

Touch Me - Nimmo ;

All I want - (Comme si, Comme ca) - Y'akoto;

I guess that my playlist tells a lot about the mood I was going through.

WATCHED - Girlboss

Here is my favorite series for last month: “Girlboss”. This is a Netflix story which is showing the life of Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso. I found it very interesting from the perspective of a job which I do (I’m afraid that I have bit of professional deformation when it comes to my job). Girboss series is about the story behind the online shop with a multi-million turnover. Amoruso is one of the youngest self-made millionaires in the online business, but who is the woman behind Nasty Gal really? What is she about? Creating a business of such a worth definitely could  be done only by someone strong and capable, but what are other characteristics of that person? Well, do not be disappointed when I tell you that she is not the most likable character in the world. But, definitively she is someone from whom many people can learn from. The thing is, how far would you go to make one of the most successful businesses in last decade? Give this series a chance, you might be surprised.
