Roll necks are one of my favourite trends during the winter. Both practical and chic, roll necks can be teamed with almost anything! During this shoot I was on my way to PAD, London's leading fair for 20th century art, so I wanted to feel warm, comfortable and stylish for the day I had ahead of me.
Once the cold weather hits I always turn to my roll necks for a stylish winter warmer. During the bitter months, I often find that scarves are not enough to keep me warm whilst travelling around various cities. There are a variety of styles when it comes to roll necks. Finding a style that suits your outfit and look is essential, especially when looking to mix and match textures and designs.
For this look, I chose a soft muted palette of colours, adding to the wintery feel of this style. I teamed my beige pullover and grey Zara coat with my rocker chic leather leggings from Asos. Leather leggings have been a winter must-have this year, teaming perfectly with chunky black ankle boots. Leather leggings can be worn pretty much anywhere and can be styled depending on the occasion.
I wanted to avoid an all over black look, so mixing and matching colours was perfect for this style. Adding different shades of nudes browns and greys helped to add different tones, yet still creating a sophisticated yet chic look. Finishing the look with my favourite Louis Vitton laptop bag, I was ready for a cold winters day around London.
This outfit was perfect for exploring Mayfair's PAD art exhibition. The inspiring and unique pieces of modern art, photography, design and tribal arts helped to expand my own creativity and flair. As a passionate art love, it was so much fun getting to explore the capital even further, discovering different pieces from International galleries.
