Montenegro - Wild beauty of the Mediterranean
There are many reasons why I decided to take a week off and come to Montenegro.

How did I get to the idea of flying to Pittsburgh from New York for the day and having the fun of my art life? To see The Andy Warhol Museum before the Le Cirque fund raising evening.
Eric Shiner, director of The Andy Warhol Museum, Paige Powell, photographer and Warhol confidante, Thomas Lauderdale of Pink Martini, and Ask the Monsters will present an evening of haute cuisine, visual delights, and a secret celebrity sing-along with piano accompaniment.
Paige Powell's portfolio of never-before-seen photographs of Warhol and his entourage will be on display and available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the museum.
In order to prepare an evening like this, I had to go and see The Andy Warhol Museum!
We couldn’t resist visiting the museum with our photographer Adrian Rosu and our Sony Xperia Z5 Compact to take pictures of our experience; after all art is all about images and emotions. So we wanted to understand more about the reasons of the museum constant success since 1996 and touch, play, create, film ourselves and enjoy all the interactive possibilities the museum offers to the visitor.
The Andy Warhol Museum is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Warhol’s hometown.
Alone, with your best friend or with your family or kids, the museum won’t disappoint you. Six floors of frequently rotating gallery space provide an ever-changing experience. In addition to that, thousands of paintings, drawings, photographs, prints, sculptures, films, and videos in the permanent collection, and finally the Warhol’s archives (full of personal objects, party invitations, presents, and memorabilia) will give you emotions and fun.
The Museum has 135,000 visitors per year (and 2015 is on its way to beat the number) and 1 million of social media followers.Warhol.org has 3,231,105 page views per year.
Rick Armstrong, Communications Manager at the museum, and Jessica Beck, the curator, were efficient, friendly and extremely informative hosts. They also amused themselves by watching Beatrice and me trying our artistic skills!
Thank you to the Andy Warhol Museum for a great day there.
There is no way I can resist a bit of shopping; so I get books to read on my flight back to Manhattan.
